(iii) Assistant Professor: 78 Vacancies
3. Technical Assistants/ Farm Managers/ Programme Assistants: 27 Vacancies
(i) Technical Assistants: 23 Vacancies
(ii) Farm Managers: 02 Vacancies
(iii) Programme Assistants (Lab Technician): 02 Vacancies
4. Service Personnel: 09 Vacancies (i) Driver (Light Vehicle): 06 Vacancies
(ii) Assistant Cook cum Caretaker: 03 Vacancies
Age condition: All interested and eligible candidates lower limit is 18 years, upper age is 40 years for Posts 3 & 4 and should not exceeded than 45 years for Post 2 (iii). Cutoff date for determining age limit is last date for receipt of applications.
Academic career: All interested and eligible candidates must have to complete Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation for Post 1, Have to awarded Ph.D Degree in the concerned discipline for Posts 2 (i) & (ii), have to qualify Master’s degree with NET qualification for Post 2 (iii), have to clear Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Agricultural Marketing & Cooperation/ Sericulture/ Home Science/ Agril Engineering/ Veterinary Science/ Animal Science/ Forestry for Post 3, have Passed in S.S.L.C for Post 4 (i) and Passed in 7th Standard for Post 4 (ii) with relevant experience. Candidates must have knowledge of Kannada for Teaching Posts.
Selection criteria: All interested and eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Qualifying Examination and Interview.
Price of Application Fee: All interested and eligible candidates should need to Pay Rs 3000/- and have to pay Rs 1500/- for SC/ ST candidates for Post 1, required to pay Rs 1000/- and need to pay Rs 500/- for SC/ ST candidates for Post 2 and have to pay Rs 600/- and need to pay Rs 300/- for SC/ ST candidate for Posts 3 & 4,paid in the for of Indian Postal Order/ Demand Draft/ Bankers Cheque payable to Comptroller, UAS, Dharwad from 15-07-2014 to 14-08-2014.
