HOW TO APPLY EPASS ONLINE ? EPASS renewal scholarship starts now in epass.cgg.gov.in
Online fresh registrations for fee reimbursement scholarships for students who pursue college courses for the academic year 2014-2015 will be commenced soon. The scholarship application process has been made fully online by the Social Welfare Department every year, in the online system, no student can enter his name as Student records will be fetched from SSC / Inter servers based on the application SSC ID. For the academic year 2014-2015, students can apply online for fresh scholarships on the e-pass website soon after the release of notification. applicants belonging to SC / ST with family income of less than 2 lakh per annum, BC students belonging to BC / EBC / DW / MW with family income of less than 1 lakh per annum are eligible to apply for fees reimbursement scholarships. all the applicants must and should submit an income declaration form to the MRO to obtain an income certificate.
GUIDELINES FOR FILLING E PASS ONLINE APPLICATION
Students will be eligible for a scholarship as per the instructions given in the reference first & fifth cited.
The application for scholarship is valid only for the current year 2012-13 only.
Students (other than minorities) must visit the e-pass website at http://epass.cgg.gov.in. to apply for a scholarship. All minority students including BC E (Muslims) shall apply in the website www.apsmfc.com.
Students can access the application form by entering the SSC ID & year of passing.
Students who are already enrolled in Intermediate colleges have to enter SSC/ equivalent ID , upon entering the data the college/ course details will be populated from Board of Intermediate server.
Students who have not registered for the scholarship will not be eligible to make a claim later.
Students who are registering for the first time, regardless of the year of study in a course will be considered as a fresh applicant for scholarship.
SCHOLAR SHIP GRANTING PROCEDURE
The application for scholarship does not automatically entitle a student for scholarship. Sanction of a scholarship is subject to eligibility as per reference cited above & successful verification of the student.
Students who have been granted GATE / GPAT / JRF / SRF / other stipends / fellowships scholarship fellowship are not eligible to apply for a scholarship under this scheme.
The Maximum eligible age as on the date of 1.7.2012 for the various courses are given as under for obtaining a scholarship:
Level of study EBC/Minorities/ Disabled as on 01-07-2012 SC,ST & BC as on 1-07-2012
Intermediate 20 years 24 years
Graduate 25 years 29 years
PG & above 30 years 34 years
Students, who are entering the ePASS website for the first time, should have bank accounts for submitting the online application form. The account number / IFSC code if not entered correctly will lead to Non receipt of funds.
Students who are already registered with ePASS can continue with the same account number or can opt for a new account number. In case of a change in the number they shall make a specifically mention in the application form. .
Requirements for online application of EPASS
- SSC ID (Hall Ticket) Number to access the application.
- Board of Intermediate Hall Ticket number where applicable.
- CET (Common Entrance Test) number in case of professional courses.
- Caste Certificate.
- Income Certificate (vide reference 2nd , 3rd and 4th cited)
- The following documents must be scanned & uploaded on the website.

- Latest photograph.
- Savings bank account number in the name of the student and joint account for students below 18 years i.e. in name of student and parent (The first page of the pass book showing name, account number & IFSC Code must be scanned & uploaded)
- CET/ M Tech/ ME/ M Pharmacy/ M Arch/ M Phil/ Ph.D etc allotment order
- Further the following fields are mandatory in the online application form--
- E-mail account.
- Mobile Number (either in Student / Parent / Relatives Number)
- Bank account no of any scheduled bank having online facility, with correct IFSC code.
