Eligibility Description:
Age Details: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 35 years as on July 1st 2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
Academic Qualification: Candidates must possess the qualification of BE/ B.Tech and ME/ M.Tech. in the relevant branch of Engineering or Technology with First Class or its equivalent either in BE or B.Tech or ME or M.Tech for Asst Professor Posts, Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with good academic record of not less than 55% of marks, Pass in the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by the UGC for Assistant Professor Posts.
Application Form Availability: Candidates will have to get application in person from the Office of the Chief Educational Officers of all 32 Districts in Tamilnadu on payment of Rs.100/- by cash.
Application Fee Structure: General and other the unreserved candidates are required to pay Rs. 600/- while SC/ST/PH Candidates will have to pay only Rs. 300/- as application fee from 20th August to 5th September 2014. Application fee should be paid in any Branch of STATE BANK OF INDIA/ INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK using only the prescribed challan.
Selection method: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written examination.
Pay Scale Information: Rs. 15600 to 39100 + AGP : Rs.6000
