The UPCPMT is famous as Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test. The exam is held by the King George's Medical University situated at Lucknow. Through the UPCPMT exam student can take admission to various undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) and Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS). 

The exam is a state level examination. In the examination the candidate has minimum 17 years is an eligibility to appear. Those applicants who have appeared in the examination, they should have passed 12th class with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or any other elective subject. This time is declared for the result 2014.
