ICMR Recruitment 2014 – requires applications from aspirants for the posts of 60 Scientist-B Vacancies: Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) New Delhi seeking applications for the recruitment of 60 Scientist vacancies in Medical and Non-medical fields at its Institutes/Centers located in different parts of India. All interested and eligible candidates are required to apply their applications on or before sep 30th 2014. Other details regarding age, qualification, selection, how to apply are given as follows

Name of the job: Scientist-B (Medical and Non-medical)

Name of the Discipline:

1. Medical/ Epidemiology

2. Veterinary Science

3. Life Science

4. Biostatistics

5. Anthropology/ Social Behavioral Science

Age condition: All interested and eligible candidates age should be not more than 35 years. Age relaxation should be provided to all reserved candidates as per rules and regulation.

Academic record: All interested and eligible candidates should have to complete MBBS/ equivalent Degree from any recognized by MCI for Sr.No:1 Post, have to qualify B.V.Sc & AH Degree recognized by VCI or equivalent Degree from recognized university for Sr.No:2 Post, have to clear with 2nd Class M.Sc/ Relevant Post graduation degree, and have to award Ph.D degree relevant subject from a recognized University for Sr.No:3 Post, have to pass with 1st Class Masters Degree in Biostatistics or equivalent degree from a recognized university for Sr.No:4 Post, having 1st class Masters Degree in Sociology/ Medical Social Work or equivalent degree from a recognized university for Sr.No:5 Post.

Selection Model: All interested and eligible candidates are selected on the basis of test and interview

Cost of Application fee: All interested and eligible candidates have to Rs.500/- for general and OBC candidates and Have to pay Rs. 100/- to other Sc/St candidates through Demand draft on any Bank drawn in favour of Director General, ICMR, New Delhi payable at New Delhi. PWD candidates are exempted from fee.
