TNPSC Vacancy positions: 

Total number of Vacancies: 162

Name of the job: Civil Judge

Age Control: All interested and eligible candidates age limit should be in the range of 25 – 40 years for reserved category candidates, age in the range of 25 – 35 years for General category candidates for Practicing Advocates/ Pleaders and Assistant Public Prosecutors, age in the range of 22 – 27 years for Fresh Law Graduates as on July 01st 2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.

Academic record: All interested and eligible candidates should have to finish degree in Law of a University from a recognized university, Must have to practicing as an Advocate or Pleader in the High Court for Practicing Advocates/ Pleaders and Assistant Public Prosecutors, Must have to qualify fresh Law Graduation possessing a Degree in Law from a recognized University, Must have to clear and eligible to be enrolled as an advocate, Must have secured in acquiring the Bachelor’s Degree of Law.

Selection criteria: All interested and eligible selection will be made based on main examination in computer based test, oral test. 

Price of Examination Fee: All interested and eligible candidates should have to pay Rs.175/- (i.e Cost of Application Rs.50/- + Examination Fee Rs.125/-) for others and have to pay Rs 50/- (Cost of application) for reserved categories, paid through Online Offline mode. Those who have registered in the One-Time Registration system, paid the registration fee of Rs.50/- and received the registration ID need not pay the application fee i.e., Rs 50/- and it is enough to pay the examination fee alone. Candidates have also to pay the service charges applicable to the Bank or Post Office or Fee Processing Agency.

How to Apply: All interested and eligible candidates are required to apply through online mode from the official and authorized website www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpscexams.net available from Aug 26th 2014 to Sept 21st -2014. 

Steps to Apply Online:

1. All candidates should have to scan their photograph & signature.

2. Candidates should have to provide their valid email ID or mobile number.

3. Navigate and log on to the TNPSC website www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpscexams.net.

4. Search and find then click on the “One Time Registration”.

5. Choose to select the appropriate position.

6. Read the instructions carefully before applying online application.

7. Click on the tab “Apply Online” Link.

8. If you already have Unique ID generated, please enter the Unique ID and password to view the already available information and update them, if necessary.

9. If you do not have valid ID, Need to enter all the required particulars without skipping any field.

10. Upload photograph and signature before arrangements at the places provided.

11. Candidates should fill all the mandatory columns carefully and click on Submit button.

12. After submitting online, Application Number and Password will be generated.

13. Take a note and also take print out to make a hard copy of application form for future use.

1. Translation Paper held: Oct 18th 2014 from 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM. 

2. Law Paper-I held: Oct 19th 2014 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. 

3. Law Paper-II held: Oct 19th 2014 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. 

4. Law Paper –III held: Oct 19th 2014 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
