1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry Combination subjects with 60% marks merit for Project Assistant Level-I posts.

2. Master Degree in Geology/Geophysics/Applied Geophysics/Physics/Microbiology or Engineering (M.Tech/ME) from recognized University/Institution for Project Assistant Level-II posts.

3. Post Graduation (M.Tech/ME) in Geophysics with 60% marks aggregation for Project Assistant Level-III posts.

4. Master Degree in Analytical Chemistry/Environmental Chemistry/Environmental Science,Hydrogeology/Geology/Applied Geochemistry subjects with 60% marks aggregation and Must have NET Clearance certificate for Project Fellow posts.

5. Post Graduation in Geology /Geophysics with two years work Experience for Senior Project Fellow posts.

6. Ph.D in Geology/Geophysics for Project associate posts.

7. Ph.D in Earth Science/Geology/Geophysics with relevant work experience for Project Scientist posts.

Age Description : Age Relaxation applicable for SC/ST/Women-5 years, OBC-3 years & PWD-10 years applicable as per Govt. order.
