Indian Institute of Geomagnetism Recruitment 2014: requires the applicants for the posts of Reader, Tech Officer & Other Positions: Indian Institute of Geomagnetism (IIGM), located at Mumbai request applications from the applicants for the recruitment of Reader, Tech Officer & Other jobs at Head Quarters(HQ) or at any of the Regional Centers of the Institute. Name of the Job:

1. Reader: 01 Vacancy

2. Technical Officer: 01 Vacancy

3. Technical Assistant (Library): 01 Vacancy

4. Stenographer (Grade III): 01 Vacancy

Age Information: All interested and Eligible Candidates age should not be more than 40 years for Sl No 1 Post and a maximum of age should be 30 years for Sl No 2 Post and the age should not be exceeded 28 years for Sl No3 Post and 27 years for Sl No 4 Post. Age Relaxation is applicable.

Academic Qualification: All interested and Eligible Candidates should have 1st Class or 60% of marks in Masters Degree in Geophysics/ Applied Geophysics/ Exploration Geophysics with excellence of relevant 5 years experience for Sl No 1 Post ,First or high second class means a minimum of 58% marks in Master’s degree in Geophysics/ Geology with minimum of 2 years relevant experience for Sl No 2 Post and First or high second class B. Lib. Science with B.Sc degree for Sl No 3 Post and SSC with a skill of minimum shorthand speed of 80 wpm and typing speed of 40 wpm Good command over English for Sl No 4 Post.

Fee for Application: All interested and Eligible Candidates have need to pay Rs.100/- through crossed demand draft in favour of Indian Institute of Geomagnetism, Nee not to pay any fee and free for SC/ ST candidates.

Getting of Application Form: All interested and Eligible Candidates can get the application form on payment of fee in between 10.30 AM to 5.30 PM on any working days (Monday to Friday) or it can be got by sending application along with the application fees and a self-addressed stamped envelope of Rs.10/- , super scribbling the envelope as “Request for Application Form” through Post.
