National Museum India Jobs 2014: Requires applications from applicants for the posts of Young Museum Professionals, Consultant, Asst Photographer vacancies: The National Museum India has published a notification for recruitment of 17 Young Museum Professionals / Conservators, Consultant/ Sr. Conservator and Assistant Photographers jobs on temporary basis. All interested and eligible candidates are also required to post their applications on before May 31st 2014. 3. Museum Consultant: 01 Vacancy
4. Sr. Conservator: 02 Vacancies
5. Assistant Photographer: 02 Vacancies
Academic career: All interested and eligible candidates should have to complete Master’s Degree in any or the following streams Museology/ History of Art/ Indian History or Ancient Indian History/ Archaeology/ Cultural Studies/ Epigraphy/ Anthropology/ Sanskrit/ Pali/ Persian/ Arabic for Post No.1 & 3, have to qualify Master’s Degree in Conservation of Art/ Heritage Management/ MSc. in Chemistry for Post No.2, Retired Conservation Professional or minimum10 years of experience in the field of conservation of wall paintings/ museum objects/ paintings for Post No.4, should have to 12th Pass from recognized board, Certificate of training in Photography for Post No.5.
Selection Criteria: All interested and eligible candidates would be selected on the basis of their performance in interview. Practical test will be conducted after the Interview for final selection for Assistant Photographer post.
