Age control: All interested and eligible candidates age should be between the range of 18-27 years for Post No.1, 21-30 years for Post No.2, 18-25 years for remaining all posts for the posts of I. In the case of II Candidates age limit should be between 24-40 years. In the case posts III Candidates age limit should be 18 years to 35 years, for SC candidates 18 years to 40 years and for OBC Candidates 18 years to 38 years as on Dec 28th 2012.Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.

Qualification of educational: All interested and eligible practice at the Bar for minimum period of two years for Post No.1, Bachelor’s degree from recognized university or its equivalent for Post No.2, Bachelor of Library Science for Post No.3, Bachelor’s degree and proficiency in Operation of Computer for Post No.4 & 6, Bachelor’s degree having Math and Commerce as compulsory subjects for Post No.5 and Metric pass from a recognized Board/ Institution, Driving License of Light Transport vehicles (LTVs) for Post No.7.For Posts of I. In the case or posts III Candidates should possess Metric with Balsevika training course or NTT.

Selection Procedure: All interested and eligible candidates will be selected based on their performance in written test, skill test and interview.

Cost of Application Fee: All interested and eligible candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 100/- in the shape of Demand Draft payable at Chandigarh, drawn on any nationalized Bank in favour of Member Secretary, State Legal Services Authority U.T., and Chandigarh.
