3. Commercial Pilot License-SSA
4. General Duty (Women-SSA)
5. Technical (Electrical/ Electronics)
6. General Duty (Navigator/ Observer)
7. Technical (Mechanical/ Aeronautical)
Age boundaries: All interested and eligible candidates should be born between 01-07-1990 to 30-06-1994 for the posts of Sr.No:1,3,5 Posts, 01-07-1990 to 30-06-1996 for the posts of Sr.No:2,4 . Age relaxation provided for OBC/ SC/ ST candidates will be applicable as per rules.
Academic Qualification: All interested and eligible candidates should have to pass Bachelor’s degree of recognized university with minimum aggregate 60% marks for Sr.No:1,2,5 Posts, having any Engineering degree with aggregate 60% marks in the in Engineering Branch, Electrical Branch, 60% marks in aggregate in Physics and Maths in 12th class for Sr.No:3 Post, 12th class pass with 60% marks in aggregate and should possess current/ valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) approved by DGCA on the date of Preliminary Selection for Sr.No:4 Post.
Selection method: All interested and eligible who are Shortlisted candidates will be called for Stage-I Preliminary Selection Examination, Stage-II (Final Selection, Medical, PABT, Validity of Selection, Reasons for Rejection, Merit List).
How to Apply: All interested and eligible unmarried male Indian citizens are required apply through online mode through official and authorized website www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in from May 26th 2014 to June 05th 2014.
Instructions to Apply Online to be followed:
1. First of all log on through the website www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in.
2. Read the instructions carefully before filling online.
3. Choose to select the post applied for.
4. Click on the ‘I Agree’ button and then click on ‘Online Application’ tab.
5. Carefully fill the online application with all the details.
6. On completion of filling application and check your filled details once again prior clicking on the Submit button.
7. After the successful submission of the online application a Application/ Registration number will be provided to the candidate.
8. Take print out to make the hard copies of two copies of the application with number generated by the system.
