CPRI Recruitment 2014 –invites applications are candidates for the posts Senior Consultant, Joint Director & Other vacancies: The Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) has announced a notification for the recruitment of Senior Consultant, Joint Director, Engineering Officer Grade 3, Engineering Assistant Grade1, Librarian, Assistant Grade II, Technician Grade 1 jobs. CPRI Vacancy Description:

Total number of Vacancies: 28

Name of the jobs:

1. Senior Consultant: 01 Vacancy

2. Joint Director: 02 Vacancies

3. Engineering Officer Grade-3: 06 Vacancies

4. Engineering Assistant Grade-1: 03 Vacancies

5. Librarian: 01 Vacancy

6. Assistant Grade II: 10 Vacancies

7. Technician Grade-1: 05 Vacancies

Age control: All interested and eligible candidates age limit should be in between in the range 45years to 65 years for Sr.No:1 Post, below 53 years for Sr.No:2 Post, below 40 years for Sr.No:3 Post, below 30 years for Sr.No:4,6 Posts, below 33 years for Sr.No:5 Post, below 28 years for Sr.No:7 Post as on 30-06-2014. Age relaxation will be provided as per rules and regulation.

Academic records: All interested and eligible candidates should have to pass First class Graduation in Electrical Engineering for Sr.No:1 Post, and have to clear First Class M.Sc / with 60 % aggregate of marks B.E with 10 years experience for Sr.No:2 Post, qualify First Class B.E with 5 years experience for Sr.No:3 Post, have to complete with 60 % marks 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Technology for Sr.No:4 Post, A university Degree with Diploma in Library Science, English for Sr.No:5,6 Posts, ITI Trade Certificate or equivalent for Sr.No:7 Post.

Selection Model: All interested and eligible candidates shortlisted candidates will be called for written test/ interview.

Cost of Application Fee: All interested and eligible candidates should need to pay Rs.500/- through Online Bank Challan for Other Posts except Senior Consultant Posts. SC/ ST/ PWD, women candidates are not required to pay any fee.

How to Apply: All interested and eligible candidates are required to apply online through website http://203.124.105.20/CPRI/ for Other Posts on or before June 30th 2014 by 5:30 PM, candidates are required to post their applications in the standard and specified format along with attested Xerox copies of Secondary School certificate, Senior Secondary Certificate and marks sheet, Graduate/ Post Graduate and mark sheets in support of essential qualification and any higher qualification, experience certificate, Caste Certificate for Senior Consultant Posts on or before June 10th 2014

3. Search to find and then click on the Careers —> Select the appropriate position.

4. Register yourself by providing valid email ID & password carefully

5. Fill all the marked and mandatory details carefully.

6. Take the printout to make it a hard copy of Bank Challan & pay the fee.

7. Again need to login yourself and fill details of challan.

8. Submit the application & take the printout copies of application for future and further use.
