BSF Recruitment 2014 – requires applications from candidates for the posts of the 609 Specialist Medical Officers, MO, Dental Surgeon Vacancies: The Directorate General Border Security Force (BSF) has released notification for recruitment of 609 Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant), Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant) and Dental Surgeon (Assistant Commandant) in Central Armed Police Forces (CSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, CISF), NSG & Assam Rifles, Ministry of Home Affairs jobs under the Government of India. BSF Vacancy Information:

Total number of Vacancies: 609

1. Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant): 390 Vacancies

2. Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant): 218 Vacancies

3. Dental Surgeon (Assistant Commandant): 01 Vacancy

Age details: All interested and eligible candidates upper age limit is 30 years for Post No.1, and upper age is 40 years for Post No.2 and age limit is 35 years for Post No.3 as on 14-07-2014. Age relaxation will be provided as per the rules and regulations.

Academic profile: All interested and eligible candidates should have to complete any recognized medical qualification of allopathic system of medicines that includes in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and must have to agree permanent registration from any state medical council/ MCI for Post No.1, Have to qualify Postgraduate Degree/ Diploma in concerned specialty mentioned in Section ‘A’ or in Section ‘B’ in schedule-I or equal of the Indian Medical Council Act for Post No.2 and having Degree (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from recognized university/ institution for Post No.3.

Selection Method: All interested and eligible candidates would be selected on the basis of their performance in interview and medical examination.

Cost of Application Fee: All interested and eligible candidates belongs to general and OBC category require to pay a crossed IPO/ Bank Draft/ Bankers Cheque of any Nationalized Bank for Rs.50/- in favour of the DDO HQ DG BSF New Delhi-03 payable at SBI CGO Complex New Delhi (Code No.7837). SC/ ST/ Female candidates and ex-servicemen are free from fees.
