BSF Recruitment 2014 – requires applications from the candidates for the posts of 317 ASI (RM), HC (RO & Fitter) Vacancies: The Communication & IT Directorate (Communication Wing), Border Security Force (BSF) has posted a notification for recruitment of 317 ASI (RM), HC( RO) and HC (Fitter) in Communication Setup-Aug-2014. BSF Vacancy position:

Total Number of Vacancies: 317

1.ASI (RM): 41 Vacancies

2. HC (RO): 269 vacancies

3. HC (Fitter): 07 Vacancies

Age condition: All interested and eligible candidates age not less than 18 years and more than 25 years for General category, in between the range of 18-28 years for OBC category and between the range of 18-30 years for SC & ST category as on June 07th -2014.

Academic credentials: All interested and eligible candidates should have to pass Metric with 3 year Diploma in Radio and TV Technology or Electronics or Telecommunication for Post No.1, have to complete Matriculation or equivalent and two year Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Radio and TV or Electronics for Post No.2 and have to clear Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board or Institution and two years Industrial Training Certificate in Engine Fitter or Diesel Mechanic for Post No.3.

Selection criteria: All interested and eligible candidates would be selected on the basis of their performance in written examination, PST, PET, Interview and Medical Examination.

Cost of Application Fee: All interested and eligible candidates need to pay the crossed bank draft/ Indian Postal Order for Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty) only for General and OBC category as the examination fee in favour of the Inspector General/ DIG/Comdt to whom the application is addressed payable at respective SBI/ Post Office. SC/ST & BSF serving personnel and female candidates of all categories are not required to submit examination fees.

How to Apply: All interested and eligible candidates are required to post their applications in the standard and specified format along with self attested Xerox copy of educational qualification and date of birth, three recent passport size photographs duly self attested, caste certificates, application fee, two self addressed envelope of 25X12 cms size and all needed documents and testimonial with full postal addressed of candidate neatly written on envelope affixed with stamps of Rs.27/- on each, enclosed in an envelope super scribed with “Application for the post of ASI/RM and HC (RO)/HC/Fitter”, should reach to concerned recruitment centers as mentioned in notification on or before July 07th 2014.

Date of Second Phase ( PST, PET, Documentation, Interview, etc) Examination conducted on :Sept 22nd 2014
