CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) is conducted by Central Board of School Education (CBSE), Delhi. This year CTET exam was held on 16th February 2014 (Sunday) in different states of India. This exam is held twice in a year. A large number of Candidates appear for this exam every year which shows the interest of the Candidates in Teaching Field. 

This year time constrain got increased for CTET 2014 from 1:30 to 2:30. Candidates with 60% marks (General) and 55% marks (SC/ST/PWD) will get eligibility certificate. Around 8.26 lakh candidates appeared for CTET September 2014 examination.

We all are well aware that, CBSE board is totally working under f Government of India so we can think quality and level of education provided in it would be higher as compare to local boards. So all candidates standard at the range of central government schools and also in the schools at union territory. All Private schools as well as state government aided schools are also follow the considering the scores of CTET. 

The CTET plays very important key role in the field of teaching department. The examinations consisting of two papers, and they are separated and named as paper 1 and paper 2. After completing of paper 1 the applicant qualifies to teach standard up to I to V , and by completing paper 2 the candidate will be able and qualify to teach standard from VI to VIII, if the candidates passed both the 2 paper then the candidate will be able to teach from I to VIII standard.
