Age details: All interested and eligible candidates upper age limit in between range of 40/ 38 years for Posts 1 & 5, And not more than 35 years for Posts 2 to 4, 6 to 10 and not more than 28 years for Posts 11 & 12 as on June 01st 2014. The upper age relaxation is 05 years for SC/ ST, 03 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD (General), 15 years for PWD (SC/ ST) and 13 years for PWD (OBC) candidates as per organizational rules.

Academic career: All interested and eligible candidates must have to completed M.B.B.S with D.M/ D.N.B/ M.D/ P.G Diploma/ M.S/ M.Ch/ M.D.S in relevant subject for Posts 1 to 10 and have to qualify B.Sc (Nursing) or Intermediate or 10+2 Science with Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery with valid registration in Nursing Council of India/ State Nursing Council for Posts 11 & 12 and have relevant post qualification experience.

Selection criteria: All interested and eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Interview for Posts 1 to 10 and Written Test, Interview for Posts 11 & 12.

Cost of Application Fee: All interested and eligible candidates need to Pay Rs 500/- for General/ OBC, and need to pay Rs 100/- for SC/ ST/ PWD/ ESM candidates, Bank Charges Rs 30/- in case of Posts 1 to 10 and Rs 250/- for General/ OBC, Rs 50/- for SC/ ST/ PWD/ ESM candidates, Bank Charges Rs 30/- in case of Posts 11 & 12, through Pay in Slip (SBI Challan) in a specially opened Power Jyoti Account No 31955226331 at SBI, RSP Campus Branch,Rourkela on behalf of SAIL/ RSP. 

After receiving the fee, the concerned branch of SBI will provide a unique Journal Number generated and Branch Code of the branch. The Pay-in-slip (SBI Challan) are required to be download from the official and authorized website after filling required details.

How to Apply: All interested and eligible candidates are required to apply through online mode from the official and authorized SAIL’s website www.sail.co.in available from July 02nd 2014 to Aug 09th 2014. Retain printed copy to make a hard copy of online application form for future use.

Steps and Instructions for Applying Online:

1. Before applying online all candidates should have valid e-mail id & mobile number.

2. Candidates have to scan their photograph, signature and all relevant documents mentioned in notification.

3. Navigate and log on to the website www.sail.co.in —> Click on Careers.

4. Need to click on Rourkela Steel Plant —> Select the post.

5. Click on ‘Apply’ tab beside the desired post.

6. Fill all the mandatory details carefully and download the pay in slip for payment of application fee.

7. Pay the fee as mentioned above and receive Unique Journal Number and branch code of the branch collecting the money and fill the details in the online application form and submit it.

8. After applying online, the candidate is required to download the system generated registration slip with unique registration number and other essential details.
