Sikkim Public Service Commission  inviting applications from the candidates for the posts of Junior Engineer (Mechanical) vacancies 2014: Sikkim Public Service Commission has declared a notification for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (Mechanical) vacancies for the year 2014 on temporary regular basis under the department of Roads & Bridges, The Government of Sikkim. Name of the Jobs: Junior Engineer (Mechanical)

Age bounds: All interested and eligible local Candidates age should be between in the range of 18 years-30 years as on first day of the Notification. Age relaxation will be given as 5 years for B.L, ST, and SC & given to 4 years for MBC candidates and 03 years for OBC candidates will be applicable as per rules and regulations.

Academic credentials: All interested and eligible local Candidates should have to qualify Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from recognized university or institution or equal qualification or Diploma in Mechatronics / Tools & Die making/ Manufacturing Technology along with Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (LME).

Selection criteria: All interested and eligible local Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written test, interview.

Cost of Application Fee: All interested and eligible local Candidates need to pay Rs.150/- to account 0051-SPSC through Bank Receipt at State Bank of Sikkim.

How to Apply: All interested and eligible local candidates are required to post their applications in 

the standard and specified format along with attested Xerox copies of Class X and XII Mark Sheet and 

Certificate, Diploma Mark Sheet/ Diploma Certificate awarded by the recognized or reputed Institute 

or equivalent, Valid Local Employment Card provided by the competent authority of the Government 

of Sikkim, Valid Certificate of Identification/ Sikkim Subject Certificate, Valid category certificate for 

BL/ ST/ MBC/ OBC/ SC issued by the competent authority of the Government of Sikkim, No Objection 

Certificate from the Appointing Authority/Head of Department to the Secretary, Sikkim Public Service Commission, Old West Point School complex, Near Police Headquarter,Gangtok by hand or by post on or before June-07-2014 by 3:00 PM.
